Taking a little break from the funny gummies and as a result had the most vivid and bizarre dreams last night which is unusual for me even sober. No issue drifting off to sleep either!

Flying solo tonight, kebabs and margaritas it is then.

Saw something really interesting in a tram the other day. I got on and moved toward the front cos that would be easier when I got off. But it strongly stunk like stale piss and I quickly moved to the other carriage of the tram away from the stink.

From there I noticed there were 3 people sitting up the front in a pretty much empty carriage, the rest of us were crowded in the other carriage.

Looked to me like a good way to sort out those who have lost their sense of smell because of covid.

Ummm, well, I guess maybe I asked for it so I could give it to my mother, she's trying but not the greatest ally. "Do you want to be a great ally to all your lgbtqia+ peers?" Ummm, I'm trans and gay. I'm not sure I need it, but I guess I could be a better ally too. Ok, send it along. Did you know that in 68 countries it's still illegal to be gay. Yes. "Something something, death, capital punishment, homophobia something death, despair pain" Ok, fair. "Now, would you like to pay 30$ a month to help us create change in those countries?" I can't really afford at the moment. I had to leave a transphobic workplace where I was also bullied by queer staff and now earn substantially less money. "Well consistency is more important than the amount, how about $10" No, please stop. I volunteer for a transgender advocacy and peer support organisation who are actively promoting change across Victoria. I'm doing something proactive locally, which is about all I have the capacity for at the moment. "Ok can we just confirm your email address? It's [email protected] correct?" Uh yeah, that'll work but that's my DEAD NAME! "ok DEADNAME, I'll send the ally guide there" I'm feeling definitely good enough today and share and laugh about this, but fucken ell, ally this, death suffering, chugger chugger, deadname, ally that. ok? It's hard rubbish collection down here in Queenscliff atm (everyone does it same day). I would've walked past at least 30-40 bikes being chucked in probably completely fine working order, and there I was walking home.

The US have not embraced the paper straw/wooden cutlery life. I know it hasn't been that long since we ditched the plastic straws and I was just getting used to them finally.. but now, like a pasta addict years on the wagon who just slurped a fresh sauce covered spaghet.. The little French bakery near me does these delicious little pasties that are amazing buttery pastry, mashed potato, peas, corn & carrots. So simple and so, so good.
