They were so unbelievably good live.

Where to find ren:
Can you tell us about it? When, where, other bands that played?
I had never really listened to them at the time. A buddy of mine convinced our friend group to buy tickets to see them at some place called Kops or something like that in Hamburg, Germany back in '86 or '87. I just remember being blown away by the whole set. Like not even looking at or noticing my friends or what was going on, other than the stage. I had my friend make a cassette of their album the next day and listened to it non-stop for like 3 weeks straight. Their show is up there with the top 5 live bans of my life. I could not tell you who the opening band was, or even if there was one. I couldn't even tell you their set, as I was unfamiliar with their songs. I just really remember the WOW we all were spazing about on the drive home.
Hey thank you. I too enjoy a bit of a spaz on the way home.
Very cool. I love the driving bass line on this
I've known this song from just about when it was released. Great song. Couple of years later I heard adorations. And that was it till a few months ago. I bumped into them on YouTube.. Started researching their music. I'm now hooked on their music and lyrics.. Jaz Coleman (leader and vocalist is both nuts and a genius, if that makes any sense).. After 1990 their music took a strong turn, some say they're the godfathers of industrial rock..
There's a live concert on YouTube called xxv gathering. First hour of the video is an interview with jaz, after that the concert. Good video and great sound quality.. All in all a great concert..
Albums to check out killing joke 1980, nighttime 1985, killing joke 2003, MMXII 2012, and Pylon 2015.. All available on YouTube..
Great great band
