Some challenging bright light on a good subject. Our first photography session of the tour centered on a small flock of Yellow-tufted Woodpeckers. He was backlit but this male was fairly cooperative with me.

@[email protected] lovely photo. Lots of photos of woodpeckers, amazing, we don't have anything similar in Australia. Someone put up a photo of a tree trunk full of holes stuffed with acorns. I had previously thought that was a children's story.
