I don't think companies should be able to use the recycling symbol unless they can ensure that the majority of what they produce gets recycled.

And in California, state law is expected to restrict the chasing arrows for most packaging made of plastic, unless there’s evidence that the plastic is widely collected and turned into new products within the state.

Thankfully, California agrees.

So much effort put into changing the triangle arrows to... a circle. Come on. Put that energy somewhere meaningful.

Who fucking cares. Recycling is a scam in the first place.

Recycling is only a scam for plastic. Paper and glass are fully recyclable but are energy intensive.

Aluminum and most metals are cheaper and less energy intensive to recycle than to mine and refine from scratch.
