FYI: The consensus among health experts is that condoms should ideally not be stored in wallets for more than a few days, if not just a few hours. If you must carry a condom in your wallet, itβs best to use it the same day to ensure its integrity.

i think those are coins. condoms have more of a ring shape?
lol and if the condom has been in your wallet long enough to imprint the leather, then you're maybe too optimistic
it did that when I was like 12 and only ever owned that one condom an had quite literally zero chance of getting laid, period. what a stud i was
Yep, it's a quarter for getting a cart at aldi π
Those are my quarters for getting a shopping cart at Aldi π
But I appreciate you putting good information out there for folks!
FYI: there are small plastic cases that protect them from getting pierced/folded. We got them handed out at sex ed some years ago but I'm sure they're still around.
The circles are from quarters so I can get a cart at aldi, but that seems like a handy thing for folks who'd like to carry a condom!
If you see this comment, maybe take a quick pic to share the items you always carry on this comm :)
Communities that don't get traffic get forgotten
A crappy wallet that at the same time is massive in my pocket but can't fit much inside, my keys on a carabiner with a bluetooth tracket and a half broken Gerber Dime multitool. And of course my trusty Emisar D4V2 flashlight.
Edit: how did a forget my watch? A nice Seiko Lord Matic Special from 1971
That's a lovely little carry! The flashlight is an absolutely lovely shade of blue
You should post your carry to this comm sometime! It hasn't had much traffic and if there aren't posts, it doesn't show up on people's feed and folks forget it exists :)
Also I'm sure folks I'm the watches comm would love your Seiko if you haven't already posted it, that's a beautiful watch
I might post my carry when I get a better wallet and a working multitool :P
You should! Though it's also okay to have an imperfect carry. A lot of time edc is just a consumerist circle jerk. Sometimes it's nice to just see the normal realistic stuff people carry.
Regardless, I'd be happy to see your carry show up on my feed when you'd like to post it βΊοΈ
SB RFID blocking front pocket wallet
spyderco delica 4 knife with emerson opener. not what i usually carry, but other EDCs need sharpening
Rite in the Rain Weatherproof CORDURA Fabric Notebook holder w/ reporter's notepad, sharpie, and uniball "one" pen
That looks like a great little carry, you should post it to the community!
How do you like the uniball one pen? I used to love my uniball signos, those are some excellent gel pens
i'm super picky about writing utensils and the "one" pen isn't one of my favorites lol
but it works and i needed something somewhat visible in case i drop the pad somewhere
current fave pen is the pentel energel "kuro," before that it was papermate's inkjoy gel
the signo is a great pen too. i also really like zebra's G301 gel pen, though i can't stand the ballpoint version
I've not tried the Kuro, I'll have to keep an eye out for one!
Is the ballpoint version of the zebra that all metal one (at least on the outside) edc folks all love? I wonder if the refills are interchangeable
Bifold wallet with radio blocking for card scanners, keys with a little purple Swiss army pocket knife and bottle opener from Texas, Nexus 5 phone no case, oversized coin to fidget with that has a couple stoic phrases 'memento mori' and 'amor fati' but thinking about it I guess they should be written in Greek instead of Latin since that's the written language they would have used, occasional guitar picks left in pockets, microfiber cloth for glasses. In the winter I usually also keep chapstick, tissues, pens, mints, etc in my coat.
That coin sounds super cool, I really like what I know of Stoicism, at some point I wanna learn more about it
if only you took the photo 40 seconds earlier π
Lol, I didn't even notice that, yeah that's a missed opportunity
