KSA has been a long time ally for US, and its wars in the region. Biden promised them a nuclear weapons program, but that doesn't seem enough.

Biden's "we would need to invent an Israel if it did not exist" refers to destabilization of ME in order to control oil. KSA was the lynchpin for it.
