A place to meme about the glorious ROMAN EMPIRE (and Roman Republic, and Roman Kingdom)! Byzantines tolerated! The HRE is not.

  2. Memes must be Rome-related, not just the title. It can be about Rome, or using Roman aesthetics, or both, but the meme itself needs to have Roman themes.

I mean... we also don't speak Anglish, so I think the Romans got something.

Also, we still use Latin letters, even though they're poorly suited for a language with >15 totally distinct vowels (17 in my specific dialect).

And then we use them badly on top of that, but orthographic reform-jerking is another Lemmy community.
