Where i live in a capital city of Australia we can hardly get 50mbs for download and upload. Our countries internet is a joke
A country which doesn't invest in its infrastructure while it's wealthy will eventually find itself no longer wealthy and unable to afford to fix it.
You joke about the install size, I’m more annoyed at the constant 1-2hr updates preventing me from playing when I have 20 free minutes.
For me, the 20 free minutes would be spent setting everything up for this stupid hobby of mine anyway lmfao

So while we're here, is it possible to get MSFS working on Linux?
On PC, only Windows 10 and 11 are supported operating systems. You may or may not be able to run it on other OSes, but this is unsupported and may not work as intended.

Well yeah, but has anyone tried it? If not, I'll go and see if I can, because VR flight sims are the only thing keeping Windows in my house.
Can only speculate. 2020 version worked with Proton layer, but 2024 version only supports DX12, so it might be a bust.
