I still need to try some of the Dragon Quest games. I did play 8, or whatever one had the princess who was turned into a horse.
They are all brilliant.
Somehow there seems to be a lot of hate towards the way Dragon Quest 7 looks and eventually how the DS remakes were done in the same style.
But personally, I think that particular look and style perfectly encapsulates Dragon Quest.
I can't quite put my finger on it.
Perhaps it has to do with the fact that 7 was my first one. ๐
This one is great, it's easy mode if you get a metal slime in your party.
