Nice. Which Linux Distro will you install on them?

I predict they will install Fedora cause its works best on ThinkPad!

Interesting. I always found that Arch and Artix worked best, but I only have one ThinkPad. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Arch works just as well, except Fedora is easier if you have an old NVIDIA card.

Ah, yeah. Fair enough.

X41 and X61 for people who can't zoom in on pics.

Is the x61 usable in 2023 for general media consumption? I'm seeing one on sale for 30 bucks.

What kind of general media? X61 is still pretty capable at browsing and video if you have the right dependencies/drivers/etc. installed and you stick to lighter software methods.

Pretty much just Youtube + streaming and some mails. I've already got a T14s from work for anything remotely heavy.

It really depends. For me, media is pretty much internet radio, for which i use pyradio. I don't really watch YouTube anymore, and when I really need to, I'll just use my tablet.

Other than that, web surfing is okay, mail and office work really good.
