I’ve dipped into the band’s back catalogue before and enjoy the odd song or two. Here’s one from the Physical Thrills album that I don’t mind.

I too have slept on this band in the past, but I.... really liked this song.

Love them. "Alone on a Hill" on that same album is also great. There's at least 3 songs I love on every album.

I can't stop comparing them to Smashing Pumpkins. Same initials in the band name. Similar sound (to me). Lead singer guy is high pitched and nasally- in a good way. Similar demographics in the band members. I hope they have healthy interpersonal relationships and stay together - unlike Smashing Pumpkins.

Yes, I too think that this is what a band would sound like if Billy Corgan decided to make music like this. I didn’t quite get the same tingle of excitement with Silversun Puckups when I first heard them as I did with Smashing Pumpkins, though.
