And what is more disturbing is that this is (if true) from stock image site. So they paid for this. 🤦

Thought exactly the same.

"They paid money for.... THAT??"

Must be nice for real artists to see that AIs have as much problems with drawing hands as they do.

Not quite sure this is the right place to post it, but I stumbled upon an article illustrated with this.

Newspaper is the main one in my area with lots of subscriptions and sold at every kiosk.

Which newspaper? Or: which area ? Can I still get this one ? It's German, but I cannot find out more.

"Trierischer Volksfreund". (It's less ominous than it sounds 😉)

Western part of the Rhineland.

Today's issue.

What even were the prompts for this? Little girls raising their arms. Great, need to see more bellies. As many as possible. Yes, nice, even in the background

Yeah I didn’t notice at first but now you mention it the bellies are unsettling to say the least

For me, that really gives a feeling of a country show from where I grew up. It's perfect. It's actually quite incredible.

I don't know.

For me it had this instant slight creepiness the moment I looked at the page it was part of.

Quick look at fingers and clothes just confirmed it.

If you delve into it yes. However, in the feed, on the scroll, it felt homely. We are in a new age.

ln the traditional wood-pulp -based newspaper it really still stands out between all the "real" photos.

But these kind of images will increasingly also be crawling in there, replacing generic illustrations.
