It's been quite a journey for Glover, the beloved 3D platformer originally released for the Nintendo 64. With time, it became an N64 classic that many fondly remember, and now it's making a return to a more contemporary console—Nintendo Switch! 🎮✨

Limited Run Games (LRG), in collaboration with QUbyte, is handling the release of this game as a physical edition. Fans can pre-order their copies starting today for $34.99 USD. Pre-orders will close on September 15th, 2024, ensuring availability for a January 2025 delivery.

This physical edition marks Glover's first official appearance on Switch, and with it comes the excitement of revisiting classic gameplay through modern hardware. 🎉

Would you add this retro gem to your physical Switch collection, or do you prefer digital formats?

I found this game so hard as a stupid child. I wonder if I can get into it as a stupid adult.

It was hard because the controls were abysmal, with some otherwise difficult sections to go alongside the controls. That said, the game itself had a lot of charm. I remember it with fondness.

I don't think AVGN is a reliable source, it's entertainment. There have been many moments where it's clear (to me) that he's just pretending to be stupid or bad at games just to give the viewer a laugh, so I'd take this one with a grain of salt.

Never again

Oh wow, I completely forgot this game existed.

Probably because it was released just before OoT so it was an irrelevant title almost immediately.

Games that required a memory pack in order to save were next to worthless in a household where one's siblings would constantly clear the memory pack's save data.

They might as well have just been tech demos

It was definitely a shitter to discover that they didn't bother setting up the ability to save on the cartridge, but I don't think you can really blame them for your siblings being arseholes!

Wasn’t this game released on the Evercade too?
