You're talking about the 519A version, right? At least the beam pattern of the H04 shouldn't be affected much due to the diffusing optic.
The H04 can be opened easily by removing the screws holding the bezel. The M150 is easy as well, just unscrew the bezel itself.
Yeah they're both 519a. I unscrewed the bezel on the m150 but I don't know how I could use the qtip method since it's sunken in too far to be able to push the dome off. I can try tweezers but it makes me nervous lol.
Well I have only swapped and dedomed like 10 different M150s now. So feel free to hit me up with any questions.
It can easily be done in the light. I like to take the battery out. Remove the reflector, glass and bezel. Put the battery back in and run Turbo for a bit. That will soften it up. Then just use the cut off qtip to push sideways and slightly up. I have been using at cut down chopstick since it's non conductive and a little stiffer.
