Yuki Tsunoda thinks that “other factors” are involved in Red Bull’s decision-making when it comes to assessing who could replace Sergio Perez in the Formula 1 team.

This was always the case. If it was purely on merit basis, tsunoda would be in that car already. This is assuming they want promote from within because there are better options outside the red Bull family

Sergio has a massive Mexican telecom giant Telmex as a sponsor behind him. I think that probably helps a lot.
