This is the place for discussing the potential collapse of modern civilization and the environment.

Collapse, in this context, refers to the significant loss of an established level or complexity towards a much simpler state. It can occur differently within many areas, orderly or chaotically, and be willing or unwilling. It does not necessarily imply human extinction or a singular, global event. Although, the longer the duration, the more it resembles a β€˜decline’ instead of collapse.

Well, we're heading towards summer here in Tasmania so I will be keeping a close eye on the mainland to see how bad the bushfires will be. This will give me a good indication of how fucked we'll be for the summer of 24.

Hoping the rope doesn't break.

I moved to the Pacific coast where it's still 65 through the summer, and only like 45 through the winter. Pretty comfy.
