MODERATORS
All retail food and tobacco businesses, excluding restaurants and bars, will be banned from operating between midnight and 5 a.m. in a section of the neighborhood during the two-year pilot.
I don’t see how this does anything.
This is just an inconvenience for night owls.
It's a curfew. They're trying to improve things with a curfew. It's pathetic. They need cops to actually do their jobs. And they need to get rid of the homeless.
TIL there's a suburban called Tenderloin, not just a steak.
I think the term you're looking for is neighborhood. The Tenderloin is definitely not a suburb; it doesn't get more urban than that.
