Man, Southgate's gone for real without getting a trophy. Kinda feels bad man.

In other news uh, Hong Kong doesn't have a national team manager, just saying...

With all the criticism, Southgate probably is the best manager for England in ages. He revamped the culture of the squad, and just so happens have a group of fine young individuals that became contenders. But the question is who will they bring in and rely on to build upon and not tear down this foundation? People have been saying Potter or Howe but I just don't see how they would achieve a higher level. Kloppo?

I did have a funny thought the other day, imagine if further down the road Mikel takes the job? ๐Ÿคฃ

Not even joking I think he's possibly the second best manager England has had ever. Recency bias of course playing a big role there though.

I wasn't able to catch a lot of the tournament, but feom what I've heard, it seemed he wasn't able to build the team to get the best put of them as a team.

You can't argue against what he's achieved though. Curious to see where he will end up next though.

I mean, it's not for the lack of trying. I do think there was a bit too much of trying to shoehorn Foden-Kane-Saka when tbh Kane and Foden were a consistent problem. But, he did damn well try to make things work, and nearly got it through. Again.

not gonna lie it hurts to talk about rn

I think Klopp is wishful thinking xD

Imagine that though...

A source that even Ornstein follows says it is "all but confirmed" that Chido Obi-Martin is leaving. fuck me man, what is with our academy.

Unfortunately there just isn't a clear path for most of these guys here

This seems like the biggest issue. I mean, just look at ESR, Nketiah or Nelson. They're the closest any have gotten and even ESR couldn't get into the team with the talent he has.
