To be fair this community is good for the most part. However, everywhere else I go it is just lazy posts of screenshots
There's still a vast untapped reservoir of material to make memes from. Go through older movies and TV shows, take a few screenshot, and you'll have the foundation for a new meme.

While I can make original memes, I generally don't have time to. My meme net is wide, so I share the great ones I find
I don't mind the occasional repost. I just don't like the low quality screenshot from 10 years ago posts.
