Good grief, disasterclass strategy by McLaren.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 4 months ago

not hitting your marks in the pits doesn't help.

Sad to see that Mclaren is employing some Ferrari strategy: not double stacking a lap after it would have been ideal, choosing the soft tires over the mediums for Lando...

Wow left Piastri to fend for himself. Should've double stacked like the Mercedes.

I feel like he still has a good chance to make up a few places on a drying track. McLaren was rapid on mediums during the first rain period.

This season has been a blessing.

This season has been a blessing.

Considering how the season started, this has been the best bait and switch

Come on typical British weather, we are counting on you

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 months ago

I'm really curious to hear why Max's pace was so slow until the last stint. I wasn't expecting him to end up second until then.

Am I the only one, or is Toto's smile wider today than last week when George won?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 4 months ago

Well Hamilton is the most loved British driver, has been with the team for years and this victory was proper on merit

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago

They lucked their way into last week's victory, they earned this one

Toto and Lewis are friends. Toto and George are employer and employee.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

So you are telling me the PowerPoint didn't ignite the spark of friendship? I am shocked! 😲

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 months ago

I didn't know I can be this happy when Lewis Hamilton wins. What two years can do! The race was awesome, laps flew by with an unbelievable speed. It's such a joy to be an F1 fan on a day like today.

PS: Yet another Mercedes win in a row, who will finally stop them? πŸ˜‚

Wow piastri has been completely sacrificed. What a poor call by McLaren

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 months ago

No, George!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 months ago

What a blunder for Ferrari with Leclerc again...

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Red Bull not even being subtle with the Perez sabotage

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 months ago

What about Leclerc. Completely botched his strategy.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Great move for max that. He can go after the mercs now

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago

What a race. Didn't take a moment away to chat here.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago

Two easy passed on Max by McLaren πŸ‘€

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago

Great start for Leclerc, making up 3 spots.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago

I am wagering that the Red bulls are not able to put the tyre into the right window. Max is just so slow

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 months ago

Max is currently blitzing the field.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

What happened there

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

Funny how we talked about british bias earlier and Lewis once again shows how he is the only driver allowed to go to the grandstands instead of going straight to the post-race interviews

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

The on track action in that movie teaser looked so obviously animated..

Though we do know that they shot actually footage on track both with Brad Pitt in the car and with proper ex drivers as stand-ins.

Wow those mercs looking quick
