All my cactuses come from estate sales for less than one dollar. They have all went a full year without water but have been watered daily since 6/1. It is between 38c and 42c here so I'm not really worried about over watering them.

I've never considered an estate sale for plants... This definitely won't lead to more adopting of mistreated plants....
The cacti are very cool, it's great that they are so resilient!
