Iam trying it out right now, is there any layout for German that features the ö and similar keys on the right side like the PC would ?

Don't know but there are several German layouts.

Just be aware that swiping / glide typing works fine but need an eextra file to be imported.

But after trying out all the open alternatives I did settle on this one, so I strongly recommend it.

Yeah there are a few choices, but none of those are qwertz with dedicated öäü, which the usual German keyboards have. The only one that comes close is the american layout. That one has the buttons but they are assigned to [ ] etc

Bei mir wenn ich Deutsch (Deutschland) wähle. Nur Deutsch ohne Deutschland ist das normale qwertz layout ohne Umlaute.

Ja eben, und die Umlauttasten hätt ich gern

I need to find a way to improve the Hangul (Korean) typing experience I really have to find a way to remap certain keys so that it makes sense.

Great news anyway I have come back to it since this upgrade I didn't see an update in a while and switched back to Swiftkey keyboard. I'm glad I'm back on the open source side of things.
