I fucking love dealing with this kind of issues on Lemmy
It's OK, If it's not fixable.
I promise you I'll have a look at it because I have another image caching issue to investigate, I don't actually know whether it's a client or server issue atm.

I get the exact same problem on multiple other lemmy apps too. But never the same images (like in your screenshot). Perhaps its a wider issue than the specific app?
a.lemmy.world for me also shows it most of the links not having any embeds or image previews.
