They all worked for me. Good examples you picked there. Jungle has been my favorite genre of electronic music since it first happened. I've made dozens of jungle tracks myself. Your breakdown was well thought out and presented.
Comprehensive! I was reading through seeing if you had an entry for Jump Up and you certainly did!
The YouTube algorithm started blessing me with a lot of jungle/breakcore mixes lately and it's been awesome - really good stuff to zone out to, but also (paradoxically) get me in the zone to crank out a ton of work
I did reply with a snarky comment to this but for real, very nice write up.
The last couple of years I tried to grasp the genre by just listening to alot of different dnb tunes/sets and wherever my ears lead me. Having this written out helps alot with what I experienced so far. Thx.
