Gather some stones and press ’*’ to access the construction menu, build a campfire... Or get a tool with digging and dig a shallow pit. Toss your wood in and ’a’ctivate any fire starting tool, ignite!
Personally I prefer to hammer a brazier out of sheet metal though.
Depends on what type of campfire
1.For outdoors ( not sure about indoors) shift+7, make a digging stick and getting 20 rocks( can use digging stick to or find them lying around or you can bash a small boulder with a makeshift hammer, Shift+ 8 - Build Fire Ring
For ease of use, shift +8, Mark Firewood Source and as long as there is wood( probably anything that is flammable but I use long sticks then logs) and you are nearby it will auto place wood to keep fire going
Indoors you can use the brazier too, or just use the oven
Seeing these questions makes me want to start another Innawood playthrough...
Maybe one day I should try that, I generally like to find a cabin in the woods as a startup, but the allure of the concrete jungle is too great, with its fancy solar power and convenient resources to be processed.
