One of the most popular country music hits of the summer is Jason Aldean's "Try That In A Small Town." But the song has ignited controversy and faced backlash from fans who say the lyrics encourage racism and violence. The Tennessean's country music reporter Marcus K. While the video may have had some potentially racist imagery, I don't see the lyrics being overly racist.

I do however, detect a note of praise for vigilante justice. I was under the impression that many fans of this genre are in the "back the blue" crowd, but apparently the blue can't handle things in a small town?
