As anticipated, this development release contains mainly user experience improvements and fixes. The option to downvote a content is not visible any more if the current instance does not allow it, inbox items are marked as read after being opened or voted, the action items are bigger as you requested and an unwanted margin at the start of comments has been removed. Additionally, more unit tests have been added and several navigation, pagination and caching issues have been solved. I'll be away for some days from tomorrow, so until next week! Report any issues on GitHub please, sorry if I don't answer immediately but will take care of everything when I'm back.

I am getting a blank list of subscribed communities on the navigation drawer.

I'll look into it (but can not reproduce it so far). Maybe the authentication token has expired and there are other things not working either (e.g. the profile).

It shows "anonymous mode" even though I am signed in and can see my profile and inbox.

Now it shows my user name instead of anonymous, but the communities are still missing. I think I might have exceeded the limit of the number of subscribed communities. With my lemmy.cafe account I have hundreds of subscribed communities.

I tried signing into my feddit.uk account and I can see the community list normally. My feddit.uk account has a much smaller list of communities.

Same results on the 0529 build.

Interesting pointer... I'll look into it, because as far as I remember that list does not have pagination is maybe it exceeds the maximum response payload size or the connection times out.

EDIT: I took the opportunity to improve the subscription list everywhere in the app, see this pull request. Hope it helps mitigating a couple of issues.
