I was, until it was obvious he wasn't going to answer any questions. What a mess.

I just went through and downvoted all of his responses. He only answered soft questions and still managed to come off as an asshole
Every Reddit AMA and most AMAs end up like this. They donβt seem to understand the concept of the anything partβ¦
I guess itβs an ask me anything. Not a Iβll answer anything π
Probably better to just cut to the chase and say heβs larping as a public washroom stall.
What a disaster. I wonder why they though doing that was a good idea. Like what were were they actually going to accomplish?
I knew it would be bad but that was lower than the low bar I set.
It was the most pointless shitshow of an AMA ever. It has confirmed the leaving Reddit is right, but I should've done it long ago. Thanks Spez.
Same, that AMA gave me the motivation I needed to delete my account. Fuck Reddit
I read through it and it went about exactly as I thought. Doubling down on the blunders, further insinuating the Apollo dev is a liar, and essentially not giving any actual answers to what people truly want to know about. Even the actual technical stuff, it seems like they didn't prepare whatsoever for this beforehand. (The AMA or the API changes)
I am one of those migrating to this platform. I already had issues with the server going down whilst trying to register. I think we're going to need a bigger ~~boat~~ server
Probably should pick a smaller instance.
It's going to be an adventure that's for sure!
Spez's doubling down on his bullshit inspired me to delete my reddit account. The purge of all my comments is running now, via redact.dev
Man they made like 20 comments in total and call it AMA... What a shitshow. Also they are all copy paste from a Google doc...
I wasn't paying attention. How bad was it??
Basically only answered soft questions and still stood by his lies about Christian from Apollo. It was honestly the most pointless AMA ever
Not that pointless, it seems like it sent a fair few people over here so that's something.
You are right, it motivated me to delete my reddit account
Welcome!
lol that's a fair point.
He answered like 7 questions that didn't cover anything people actually wanted to know about, then just stopped responding
It was the most downvoted post ever before they locked voting and reset it to 0.
the lowest post karma on reddit can go is 0.
I was (no idea if it's still going on, I don't think that it is.)
The shit is fucking hilarious. He consistently avoids to answer every relevant question, and he's so obvious on that that even your typical Reddit user is noticing it. This guy is not just a liar, but an incompetent liar.
Might as well call it AMABIRN (Ask Me Anything, But I Reply Nothing.)
Its over now anyway i think
... in more ways than one for Reddit and spez.
It seems like he's putting very little effort into it
I got bored a while ago.
