Spheres?

Like those 3d texture spheres, or just anything with spheres: a spherical dog, an alien planet, a melon, etc.

I can't possibly think how big the spaceship/plane would be if it was a real thing

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 months ago

You made me think about the cool shadows that the eclipse made few weeks ago, i bet this thing would make some wild looking shadows.

Just exploring 'round the uprising desert of calmness, far from the crowds. Prompt initially made with the brain button from the AI Text to Image Generator with huge modifications.

Shadow the Hedgehog's Motor-tricycle.

Cool! The entries are good so far in the Hub Events! ✨

For the images, do you want it like a generator card? i.e.

Image
---
Author
---
Desc

Also, can you add a sample image, so I can create the HTML xD.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

like that maybe? sorry for the late response

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

The image url should be ending in any image format i.e. png/jpeg/webp etc.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

LOL silly me.

that look good now?

title as the object like how the generators do, then image, author, desc?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

Actually it should be:

images
  https://user-uploads.perchance.org/file/09488d039617acaf48109d15c725fc73.jpeg
    author = Allo
    description = example image for the may image contest
 ...

But if you want to title that image as well we can do:

images
  title of image here
    image = https://user-uploads.perchance.org/file/09488d039617acaf48109d15c725fc73.jpeg
    author = Allo
    description = example image for the may image contest
 ...
[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I'll do the way you say it should be! people can put titles in their description if they need and having a title should be a requirement of posting a picture

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Aight, you can see the display now:

you can also try to use a portrait and it should be expanded vertically a little bit, but for a square it should be the same height as the landscape. Let me know any changes/feedback on it. Thanks

[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

on my computer, the text is white and the background is lightgreen. While I could change the background to not light green, i think it better to mention it. on your image it looks good.

maybe have it the same as your pic? maybe allow choosing text color? maybe something else?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (2 children)

EDIT: Should work now.
Ah, i'm using CSS nesting. Probably not yet supported on your browser. I'll update it.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

also a feedback is in order to show an image it seems to REQUIRE a description and not always would the person neccesssarrrrilllly have placed a description on their image!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 months ago

Should be fixed now ( I think )

[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

ty for being awesome :) looks supernice

[–] BluePower 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Off topic here, but Voyager, an alt UI for my instance, seems to crash when loading the community event posts like this just because of an error when trying to parse the Perchance Data code block (in which contains the perchance_data right at the very start). Do you think I should open an issue for that bug?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 months ago (2 children)

I would suggest go ahead, since other apps seems to work fine (Connect, Thunder, even Jerboa on Android, Alexandria on Desktop) they might not have a fallback on unrecognized language syntax in their code highlighter.

On that note, we can also just have it on plaintext to reduce the problems on markdown syntax highlighting. It is just for convenience of parsing through the data, we can always change it if needed.

It was fixed in version 2.8.1 so nothing to worry about afterwards 😉
