Meniscus repairs are an interesting one. I was listening to Dr. Mike in an interview with Tony Hawk and he was talking about how for most people (not pro athletes) it’s better to just do PT and OT than to get surgery and then do PT and OT.

It’s also interesting that they say he had a ‘full meniscus repair’. I had mine operated on ten years ago and the two options are a scrape or a stitch, and the stitch usually won’t help if a person is too old (which my doctors said was pretty much anyone over 20) because there isn’t much blood flow to the cartilage. A scrape mean they would cut out more of your meniscus and possibly put something in there.

Honestly not too concerned about him missing the start of the season, Phins corner depth is good. They'll need him for a playoff run if they make it though.
