What is the file size of the photo you’re trying to upload?
Iirc, Lemm.ee has a 500kb photo upload limit because we are not built as an image hosting platform it is highly recommended you use an external image hosting service. The restriction has not been changed to my knowledge.

Me, I'm just trying to replace the logo of my community that Lemm.ee disappeared a couple days ago. Our community is here:

Now, I've prepared a new graphic and hosted it on Imgur, but it seems Lemmy won't accept that. I.e., I keep getting error messages upon upload / replace attempts.
