The angle of this picture almost completely hides the cup. I thought you made a latte art cookie at first, lol.

The Magical Fruit
The Oromo people would customarily plant a coffee tree on the graves of powerful sorcerers. They believed that the first coffee bush sprang up from the tears that the god of heaven shed over the corpse of a dead sorcerer.

๐. You're totally right. Doesn't help that I use glass cups.
Man, Iโve been trying to get good at this but my milk is often to foamy at the end of the pour.
Here are a few tips which you might find helpful.
- Try to limit the amount of bubble production when steaming your milk, you can control this by adjusting the depth of the steaming wand. Closer to the surface = more/bigger bubbles.
- Make sure your steaming wand is NOT an auto frother. It's almost impossible to get good microfoam with an auto frother.
- After steaming, tap hard on the counter a few times to pop the biggest bubbles, then swirl for about 10 seconds to homogenize.
