I think a console "refresh" right now is ridiculous as we're just barely getting games that aren't also releasing for the Xbone/PS4. If they are going to do it though they need way more than an improved heatsink and no disc drive...

If this is legit and not a hoax, they’re also suggesting it will be a fair bit cheaper than the current model. I can’t see that being a bad thing, and preferable to the PS5 “pro” minor upgrades and higher price.

"All Digital." I know some of you will say, "Who buys physical copies nowadays?" But remember, Xbox brags about backward compatibility in every Xbox release event, and it's well received by gamers. Now what?

I doubt they will get rid of vanilla Series X or drop disc drives entirely in the future for that reason. For people who join Xbox ecosystem today cheaper disc-less option will be a no-brainer though.
