Maybe because, after years of hearing how revolutionary Bitcoin is, it's failed to do anything except make a few people obscenely wealthy and everyone else is just tired of hearing about it?

Could it be the wave of crypto pump and dump projects spamming the internet way past the tipping point of general consensus?

Perhaps it's that the public learned to see right through the army of cryptobros trying to convince them to BUY BUY BUY and don't want to be left holding the bag?

One thing it definitely can't be is the high profile FTX case opening everyone's eyes about what's going on with the grey market of crypto. Nope.

Crypto may have been a great idea at the start but the whole industry was taken over by the worst people imaginable and even people like me - early adopters - are sick of this shit.
