I’m really torn between starting a tomb kings army and a vampire counts army, granted one is legacy but VC have newer models.

Aside from the Nexrosphinx I don’t have any TK models, and I have zero VC models.

I really want TK but the old skeletons are really derpy and disappointing.

I know for certain that I will be doing High Elves but no one knows when they will be released and I want a second army.

Just looking to discuss while I mull it over. Indecision can be really annoying some days.

I don't know what there is to discuss - Skaven are obviously the only correct choice here.

I can see why Skaven have many fans but Im not one of them sadly.

The only good Skaven are responsible for is helping Alcadizzar interrupt Nagash’s ritual and giving me Tomb Kings as a result.

There is a Tomb Guard army in the Khemri Arcane Journal. But I don't think you can use Necrosphinxes when you take this army.
Maybe, if you like the Tomb Guard more and have some cash to burn, you could make a regular Khemri army with predominently Tomb Guards and kit-bash some bows and spears for the core choices on them?

Not a bad idea but I ended up going a completely different direction…. I decided to get Lizardmen despite their legacy status as they can ally with High Elves and the new models are amazing.
