Hello, I'm visiting Copenhagen this week and I want to ask what App are you using for public transport? In Czechia we have an app where you type your bus/train/tram stops and it will find you best connection, so I guess you will have something similar? Also do you have any tips or what are tourist traps in Copenhagen?

Google Maps supports public transportation in Denmark.

Google maps do not have information about delays, temporarily moved stops and so on

It does have many routes and such, but you can't rely on it for planning.

Use the official tools instead.

  1. Look at City pass small, its 90 kr for 24 hours 220 kr for 72 hours. https://dinoffentligetransport.dk/citypass_da (use google translate).
  2. Rejseplanen to check where and when.

Siger du du kan kan køre ubegrænset i et døgn for 90kr? Jeg kan ikke komme fra Ribe til Bramming og tilbage for de penge...

Det siger DOT, hvis du holder dig inden for Københavnsområdet (se kortet på linket)

DOT Biletter is the app for tickets in Copenhagen but it is more expensive than using rejsekortet that u/a_green_smurf wrote about, so generally rejsekortet is the way to go

Er det ikke meget at købe et kort for 3 døgn?

I want to buy Copenhagen card, which should have public transport included, so I just need timetables

Just note that you need to have a minimum of 70 kr on your anonymus rejsekort in order to be able to use it for travels. This somewhat diminishes its use for turists.

Avoid eating at the main street at Strøget, they are all tourist traps.

For public transport,l i recommend getting a "rejsekort", so it's the cheapest way to get around. Can be bought at the machines on stations or in service kiosks.
