Hello. Im searching job as a Tandhygienist/Tandplejer in Copenhagen. Travelling from Malmö. I want to get better insight on salary before my interview with a private company in Denmark. 5.5 years of experience. Ive calculated about 42-45% tax including pension. I will be travelling over öresund so 3k/month is calculated in. Thanks!

According to UddannelsesZoom, the national average salary for a Tandplejer/Tandhygienist (Prof. Bachelor) for a newly graduated TP/TH is 32.800 DKK, and 37.000 DKK with 10yrs of experience. These are averages, and might be a low-ball figure.

Note: Figures are Gross/Before Taxes.

Thank you for this. I will let them tell the price to me instead of telling my wishes and see if its worth it or not.

minimum wage is 32k and you should be getting at least 40k based on 37hours/week. Lots of clinics pays commision between 10-35% of your monthly turnover. So there are huge variations in the salery. I know people working for 35k/month and others getting 70k/month on commision.

High fixed salery is difficult to get but there are people getting 55-60k fixed salery. you are more likely to get a high income on a good commision rate of at least 28% of your monthly turnover, but then it all depends if your day is fully booked and what type of treatments you are getting.

I cant say what private clinic it is but its one of the biggest. Also i had in mind 36-40k dkk but seeing now i should probabily increase that abit. Should i tell the interviewer what im asking for or let her tell me what they are offering?

I would say wait for them to either say a number or ask you about your expectations. if it's a big chain they will most likely have a fixed percentage that you will get in commision, on top of mimum wage. And is likely to be non-negotiable as many clinics keep that same percentage for everyone. It could be a 'take it or leave it' thing.

But even if they offer you mimimum wage and 25-30% commision you can still be looking at 50k/month depending on the type of treatments and how busy you get.
