Well, that's certainly one way to ensure your party includes Rope Trick, Tiny Hut, etc. in their loadout. Hell, if these little bastards are native to any area near civilisation, the party could pretty easily find out what the locals do to counter them, so in failing to do their due diligence in unknown territory, the gnats are a lesson in preparedness. ๐ค๐ผ

Posting Homebrew
- If possible, provide a screenshot with your post
- Provide a link to a PDF, Homebrewery, etc.
- Specify in the text whether you're looking for feedback and what kind
- If you ask for feedback, be prepared for criticism. Your first brews might not be as good as you think they are. Brewing is a skill that improves with practice, and you probably won't master it on your first try. That's okay! Try not to take it personally and use it to improve your brewing skills.
Offering Feedback
- Be constructive. "This is bad and you should feel bad" is not constructive. "You have an interesting idea, but it seems unfinished" is constructive.
- If you're critiquing something, offer suggestions or a general direction when possible.
Love the approach to asking locals on how to deal with them. Maybe there's a really simple solution like lighting a lemon scented candle or something silly like that. Very good point!
Or coating exposed skin in a dangerous unguent that may pose a moderate-term risk and definitely contributes to epigenetic issues, but seems to repel the Knucklbiter Gnats for a few hours. (Of course, in line with the game's theme, what's repellent to one may be wildly attractive to another, larger, more imposing issue...)
Fantastic! Depending on the group composition it could also be a strong aphrodisiac or repellent for one of the races involved. Just to throw some internal conflict into the mix with the external conflict
Personally, I shy away from drug-induced sexy times, real or otherwise, heh. ๐ Makes for awkward RP at best, IMHO... but a non-sentient monstrosity that just can't shake that newfound mesmerizing crush on a certain hero who's just strolled into their swamp, yet is too shy to engage with all those others around their crush all the time? Could make for an eerily persistent stalker vibe that ratchets up and crescendos to a classic He-Man ending. ๐คช
Love it! The +18 for Stealth is brutal though :/
You can totally adjust that. The point really is to be exceedingly annoying in it's base setup. But maybe I also just have way too many crits in my parties.
