Nice list, even a few songs I've never heard. I'm gonna suggest adding Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Enola Gay, Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World, and Blondie - Atomic (although technically its from 1979)

Enola gay was an obvious miss, duh. Fixed.
I've listened to EWTRTW approx 4 trillion times and never twigged that it could be about nuclear war but it's obvious now. Added.
Atomic is not about the bomb as far as I can tell.
