Yeah, it's kinda crazy but I'm already running the dev beta on my iPad Pro and my Mac mini (main machine), and other than occasional graphics glitches or whatnot, I've been amazed at the stability and some actual bug fixes from previous versions. If it's looking this good already at the beginning of the summer, I'm feeling pumped about the fall!

It's already far more stable, especially when working with multiple screens for me.
Ventura would forget my display layout almost daily, Sonoma hasn't once. And I am LOVING Desktop widgets, something I've wanted for ages! And Apple, in a very un-apple move, put in loads of options to tweak how the UI works
Are You running the Beta on an M1/M2 or on an Intel Chip?
M1 Max
Running the iPadOS beta and it’s been surprisingly stable. The features seem to be implemented well, and even things like AirPod automatic switching are working better. The interactive widgets is a big QOL improvement too
YES Home App widget is what I needed! Unfortunately my iPad took a swim recently and is out of action; but mac, watch and iOS have been great so far
Yes! The Home app widget is so useful. It's so easy to turn on a fan or lights. It also has a widget for the temp and AQI from some of my devices. Not sure if that existed before, but it's a nice addition
I haven't tried the iOS 17 Beta myself, but some of the new privacy and security features (enhancing Safari's anti fingerprinting protection, blocking 2G in Lockdown mode) have me very interested.
I have iOS beta 2 on my phone and iPad, tried to put the beta on my Mac, but it bugged and blocked all internet access with Wifi and ethernet connected, and killed several apps that I use daily they need to be updated before I can move to the new os (little snitch, loopback, audio hijack to name some).
For iOS, I'm very happy overall. Beta 1 had a lot of bugs especially with the keyboard, but has gotten a lot better in Beta 2, although battery life has been worse than usual.
