This is a forum for discussion about Mlem. We welcome a degree of general chatter, but anything not related to Mlem may be removed at moderator discretion. This is not a forum for iPhone/Android debate. Posts and comments saying nothing but "iOS bad/I use Android" will be removed as off-topic.
We welcome constructive criticism, but ask that it be both precise and polite.

FAQ

When will insert feature here be implemented?
- Check our issue board--if there isn't an issue open for the feature you want, feel free to open an issue or make post! Just remember that devs are people too--we're doing this for free in our spare time, and building a quality app takes a lot of patient work.
Is Mlem available for Android?
- No. Mlem is written using SwiftUI, which is not currently supported on Android. If such support becomes available, we will look into bringing Mlem to our Android friends.
How do I join the beta?
- The TestFlight link is here, though we can't guarantee there will be room left--Apple imposes a strict 10,000 tester limit.
How do I join the dev team?
- Head over to our recruitment channel, or go straight to our GitHub and read CONTRIBUTING.md to get started.

iPad bugs in mlem ver. 0.1.2 (sopuli.xyz)

If viewing a community you cannot switch to another community from the side menu unless you switch to all/subscribed/local first. This was also present in the previous version i believe, however i only noticed it when in subscribed and had to switch to local or all to go back to subscribed to refresh my feed.
The bug tabbed out of mlem (such as uploading an image to imgur) and then back into mlem, mlem loses your place (i believe it was said it was crashing in the background).
Spoiler tags are not working (i think this may not be ipad specific).
Blocking a community does not removd the post from feed any longer (may also not be ipad specific, have not tested on my iphone). [ETA: Blocking from the All feed does nothing, going into a community and blacking there crashes the app][Edit 2: on iphone blocking from the feed does nothing, i have to go into a community to block it, then refresh my feed for the posts to be removed. But it is working on iphone, but not on ipad]

I will add more if I remember, or find them.

did anyone report that mlem crashes immediately when un-favoriting a comment?

I am not seeing this on either my ipad or my iphone. While testing, i did notice... I cannot find where saved comments are found. I figured they would be in the saved feed, but i do not see them.

Both saved posts and saved comments are mixed in together in the "Saved" feed. This is how it worked previously when the "Saved" feed was in the profile, too. If this isn't working properly and you don't see your saved comments in the "Saved" feed, let us know.

In future, we'd obviously like to add more granularity here, such as being able to filter the saved feed by just posts or comments, or sorting the saved feed.

I do see them. I was not looking hard enough. Having comments and posts saved separate from one another would be great, at some point.

I actually cannot reproduce it now with the latest update. Yes, I see those in the saved feed.
