That is pretty standard. edit: but about twice the amount of effort that's usually put in - they usually don't have enough time to get creative so dump and run.

Back in the day, hopefully, less so now, the classic was in the bin.

The one we were moaning about at the weekend is "delivered to household". I assume it's an unchangeable drop-down setting but I am the household and it definitely wasn't delivered to me, so the hunt begins!

That’s frustrating. I suppose in that case I’m glad these were at least our bins!

Well quite - one of the guys I was talking to about it had a photo sent to him of a successful delivery to his doorstep, except it obviously wasn't his doorstep.

I had an Amazon delivery I was tracking the other day - it was going to be there by 6:30, then 5:30, then 7:00 until 7:15 it was only 8 stops away (it always seems to be 8 stops away in the same nearby street) and then it declared that something went wrong at 6:23 and they'd try again the next delivery day. It turned up with no fanfare the next day. I still don't know what happened, although I suspect it got late and the Amazon driver just sacked it off and went home. Can't really blame him.
