Could you pin this thread or link to it in description of the magazine?

I'm no mod, but @ernest could when he gets a chance.

Edit: Pinned.

Since it's hosted on kde.social, I'd say the first one probably is.

Thanks for the list! You might want to edit !pop_os because they moved to !pop_os, no longer on kbin

Thanks for the heads-up! It's not meant to be a list of official communities. Just a list of magazines that exist. Nothing stopping kbin users from wanting to use it, and do their own thing locally.

@staticlifetime I have some suggestions for addition: https://kbin.social/m/linuxgaming without the underscore in name exists. And as you have linked to a general purpose Open Source community, maybe you are interested into a gaming focused one as well https://kbin.social/m/opensourcegames .

Could this be edited to be links for users?

Hey kbin fellas

Why not follow the Lemmy communities already created? Most of these already exist and are larger, I think.

Instances exist for more than just to access singular communities. You can access our stuff here, and we will go to y'all as well. This is no small community either. We choose to be on kbin for a reason.

These links don't work for me.

Lol you're using kbin so ofc they wont work, but format makes them clickable for Lemmy users

Works for me (: https://imgur.com/a/CyB2WN6
