Cooking salmon filets in the microwave oven is actually pretty good. It might come as a surprise to some people. But microwave ovens are pretty good at cooking stuff. One might think they were built for that.
Its the 'wet paper towels' that icks me out. Can you imagine salmon, with the taste od soggy paper towel?
Parchment paper is cheap as fuck and making an envelope is pretty easy. You can steam anything in the microwave with it!
Vegetables with just a bit of water, not submerged, for 2-3 minutes (6 for carrots) and they come out crispy and vivid with color
