Turns out a lot of projection comes from these politicians. Sure, someone attempted to rig the vote, it's just that it wasn't Biden.

The ones who scream the loudest are often the ones with more to hide.

It's shameful, and they should face the full consequences of their actions. No excuse.

I thought Trump did a pretty good job while he was President.

I also think he fucking lost his mind when he lost the election and shouldn't be the GOP candidate.

I kind of agree. I, obviously, never cared about his character, but as president he did some good things (mainly outside his rhetoric).

Since then, it seems the ego and narcissism has just worsened and I just want him to fade into obscurity.

According to the Constitution, there's no such thing as a false elector. There is not supposed to be a popular vote. Electors are meant to be free to vote for whoever they deem fit. The fact that every single state has now instituted popular votes for POTUS does not change the fact that the founding fathers intended electors to be free to vote as they see fit.

I don't think you understand what's happened or what is meant by the term "false elector." The electors for Michigan had already been chosen and certified the actual results of the popular vote. These electors were straight-up fake. They weren't chosen as electors via the normal system; they were simply GOP folks who lied in writing.

I realized I was mistaken, deleted my comment, and then saw your reply. You're right, and I'm sorry.

Fair enough. Thanks for correcting yourself and your honesty.

Wow, how os this the first I'm hearing of this? I this somehow not legit?

This has been going on for a hot minute, with substantially less coverage from right wing sources.

Not quite sure what you mean by this. The electors were certainly not legit—they were fake and they flat-out lied. That's the point.
