Lets say we have something like 2 x 2tb drives and 1 x 1tb, 3 x 500gb drives.

We can't use RAID 5 on the larger disks as we need 1 more.

But can we somehow set it up to treat the 2.5 tb of storage on the 4 smaller drives as if it were one 2tb drive, then set the 3 (2 real, 1 virtual) 2 tb drives in a raid 5?

How would you do so?
