Just curious if any one has attempted to set up the Streacom DA6 without a riser cable. Streacom recommends using one and all the builds I have seen use one but I was wondering if any one who has built in it could tell me if there is anything stopping you from sliding the mobo tray to the back and mounting the gpu on the side for instance directly in the PCI slot? For instance in this image they have a very similar cooler rendered to my Noctua NH12L. I would like to build vertically and maybe rotate the motherboard and put the gpu where they put the radiator. Perhaps they dont display this option because it makes the case prone to tipping? Unsure.
