lemmy users
lemons
Honestly a lot better than lemmings
🤔
I just realized this pic probably doesn't show up for lemmy users lmfao. how ironic.
I can see an emoji. Is that the picture?
Lemmy allows image uploads in comments
I posted a thinking emoji along with a comic that was about a wizard who tried to summon a demon but ended up summoning a lemon.
did you see my image?
yes I see your image just fine. it's a link, not embedded. mine is embedded, not a link.
@[email protected] for your comment all I see is the emoji, no image or link. For @gun/linux's comment, I see the image embedded in the comment.
I'm guessing this is just the growing pains of the fediverse, and soon Lemmy will support Kbin's image handling and vice versa.
yeah it seems lemmy can't see kbin comment embedded images which is how things end up when we use the image upload feature for a comment. I'm guessing you can see posted images for the top thread post yeah?
I see the image for the post up top, but the only other image is the one in @gun/linux's comment.
I just found out that after I post the image I can copy the image url and then just link it lol. this is what I had posted.
I say lemmies, like trekkies
I thought we’re Ktrash. Cos we are in a kbin.
I like kbinauts and lemmies, it's like we're a federation of spaceships in (cyber)space.
we should really decide on are name!
Less than a week here and I'm already out of the loop
Lemmy.ml and lemmygrad are two big lemmy instances that are overtly tankie (far left authoritarian communists who like china/ussr). lemmy.ml being the main lemmy instance and the devs of the software.
leftists have been used to interacting with tankies since we end up sharing a lot of the same spaces. but liberals aren't exactly used to it (and think non-tankie leftists are essentially tankies). naturally the more milquetoast liberal reddit crowd that came here is now "appalled" to see actual tankies.
Heh, very relate-able ;)
