After promising myself I'd take my 3DS everywhere with me this year, I got my first legitimate StreetPass of the year a few days ago and it felt amazing. Does anyone else still get StreetPass hits? :)

I have only had one StreetPass but I got my 3DS after about a year of the Switch being out. That said that one StreetPass was one of the happiest days of my life.

I haven't tried in over 3 years. I will carry both my 3ds and n3ds on my commute from now on. Hopefully I get some.

Good luck! And if nothing else, they will streetpass each other every 8 hours :)

Oh I always thought it was only once a day!

I have searched in vain for a source for my "every 8 hours" claim, so please do take it with a pinch of salt. I've wanted an excuse to get an O2DS for a while, and now I have one, to test this out. So thanks! :D

I have been carrying my 2DS on my commute to and from work for the last 2 months. It actually managed to make a StreetPass connection from a car driving by, and another a few days later while I visited the local zoo. It makes me happy to see that there is a push for people to carry around their 3DSs again. If only the Switch had a similar program...

When I was taxi driving with a 3ds for a few months a few years back, I never got any. Le sigh. Everyone just on their phones these days.

My last legit one was in Narita airport during a layover. It's been almost a year since then though. I've been bringing my 3ds with me everywhere too.

Last time I got some hits was at an anime-con, but that was a few years ago. When I eventually get the power button of my New 3DS XL fixed I'm hoping to get more!

After deciding to bring my 3DS with me again because of this thread two days ago I got two people on the first day, today I was not so lucky. I hope this is means more people in my area are still carrying their 3DS. Or I just got extremely lucky. This was in the Netherlands BTW

Edit: Apparently I met one of them before so a big chance of meeting him again. The other one is from Belgium so no chance I'll be meeting him again.

Oh that's wonderful news! I had a day out all day today, not a single hit, although to be fair it was the middle of the day and I did spend a lot of it inside a Costco. :P

In my country I couldn't even get a StreetPass when 3DS was still supported so I'm not even trying these days. I find the battery life much longer without wireless connection
