Our fixation on the Mexican border "crisis" is such an obvious manifestation of raging racism and colonialism that it hurts to even have to explain this to people, but this article is a pretty good primer.

I'd also recommend Open Borders by Bryan Caplan and Zach Weinersmith for anyone who needs to be dispelled of the fascist lies supporting the anti-immigration hysteria that seems to be plaguing our nation.

This article spews a lot of statements with no citations to back them up, and uses a click bait headline about bOtH sIdEs then only talk about one side (gov abbot and Texas). Their point is, remove all border policy because look how perfectly it worked in Europe... And completely disregarding all the short comings of that unification. Then pivot to US capitalism ruined south America which yes it has, but we have to open our border to atone for our sins. Pretty useless article.
